Well not much to report here. It must be a good duck hunting season because Brad hasn't been seen since March. For a guy who wants his own spot as a weekly contributor he sure isn't heading out fishing as much as he should. Until Brad starts sending us photos we will have to just post some on his behalf. Looks to me like the 70's were good to Bradley Eugene Hood III:

Here is Rob Crotty and his 4 foot leopard shark that he caught while fishing off the railroad tracks on a mudsucker Friday evening.
Here is Lander showing off his prize from the Kid's catch of the month!
Not an hour after Lander left today I caught this nice 24" Bass on a good ol' fashioned Bullhead! Here is a Map of the Sheraton Hotel and just one of the many spots to fish from shore. Casting jigs at the top of the tide and Bullhead fishing has been great around this area.

Fishing Update
Petaluma River: Wide open Bullhead bite! Nice keepers and even limits have been caught all week long. Anywhere on the river has been great. Limits up river near the Sheraton Hotel (see map below) all they way back down to Port Sonoma and the mouth of the San Pablo Bay. We arn't kidding folks, get on it!
Napa River: Napa has been decent, no days of limits. If fishing I would stay fishing in the Petaluma River system or head out to the Pumphouse if the wind will let you.
San Pablo Bay: A customer told us that he caught a 45" Sturgeon and limits on Bass while fishing Near China camp yesterday. We are almost getting back into the Sturgeon bite and I was pleased to hear this info. Sharks and Rays are still being reported as well.
Bait: Bullheads have been the bait of choice. In addition we have a great supply of Grass Shrimp that Captain Joel has been "Hand Feeding", they are starting to get a bigger and we will refer to them as medium sized.
Dave Hurley provides the best detailed fishing report for the greater Bay Area. Check it out and sign up:The Hurley Chronicles
Low Tides: We recommend that you do not try to boat into our slough right now unless it is high tide. The mud is pretty thick and if you can just stop by before you launch. We hate to see you guys mess up your engine kicking up mud on the bottom of a tide. Until they dredge you gotta drive here before you launch.
Jeff Denk and his buddies got limits of Salmon while fishing the upper Sac River last week (near Los Molinos). Here is Mike "Big Tuna" Gurtovoy again with his catch of keepers. Two nice bigs lings while fishing off our coast.
***Get your Grass Shrimp on Special!*** 1/2 lb for $8.00 or 1LB for $16.00!
