We pride ourselves with having the freshest bait on the bay. As the only bait shop on the bay with their own shrimp boat we can live up to that claim. We are open 365 days a year at 6:30am. Come on down and say hi to a friendly face.

Fishing Update
***Petaluma River***: If you can't land a Striped Bass fishing the Petaluma River it's likely you can't take a piss without wetting the front of your pants. We arn't kidding folks the Bass are biting like Vampires out here. I have caught a keeper the last few times I've been down here. Boaters have came back for more bullheads on multiple occasions. The Bullhead fishing up river is wide open.
Napa River: Bass bite is great with some monsters being reported. Upper river has produced fish and Napa Slough is still great. Bullhead fishing would be a good choice, if not try Pile Worms. as we said before boaters have started trolling for Bass in this system with hair raisers and rattle traps. Here is a link to some common Striped Bass Jigs as well as info on how to use them: BASSJACK.COM
San Pablo Bay: This looks like a good weekend to head out here. The fish are biting in our area and lets be honest don't you have enough Salmon in the freezer? If one was to fish for Sturgeon we recommend the shallow water between the Pump House and China Camp.
Sonoma Creek: Had two reports of Sturgeon from shore near the mouth of the river. The problem with going for Sturgeon is you have to fight through the Rays, Shark, Bass and Crabs but they are there. We recommend using Grass Shrimp or Bullheads in this area.
Bait: Bullheads galore! We have plenty of Grass Shrimp and will be getting our supply of worms here on Monday. As always we have the finest frozen baits available from Big Red Worm Co.
Salmon Fishing has been great this year I haven't heard about someone NOT limiting out. Here is a nice local article about this season: Salmon Season
Dave Hurley provides the best detailed fishing report for the greater Bay Area. Check it out and sign up:The Hurley Chronicles
Low Tides: We recommend that you do not try to boat into our slough right now unless it is high tide. The mud is pretty thick and if you can just stop by before you launch. We hate to see you guys mess up your engine kicking up mud on the bottom of a tide. Until they dredge you gotta drive here before you launch.
Will Vincent from Novato shown below with his 29lber in front of Bird Rock. He has been fishing out Bodega and says he "can testify to 'A Rock Solid Bite' for the last several weeks." He goes on to say that he and his friends got their share of "Limits every time Iv'e gone" They fished with Watermelon Apex and the majority of fish they caught were 30-40ft down. He said "just put um down where the bait is. Tons of Krill out there." He believes "the fish have not moved into Duxbery alot due to all the krill. Whistle bouy to Bird rock 150-180ft and if you just find the bait and you will be on fish." He says that "last week I boated my biggest Limit. A 29 and a 27. they came on clear FBR with Herring. No Flash." Thanks for the info Will
Legendary Steve Ameral and his wife Wonda took some time off and landed some nice Bass in an undisclosed location on the Petaluma river last Sunday. The fishing in our river system has been filled with action.
Also here is one from today on the Petaluma River. Every bit of 22"
