| Fishing Update |
- Bait: Plenty of Live Grass Shrimp, Pile Worms and Mid-Shipmen. We are loaded up with EEL and other frozen baits as well.
- Napa River: People have been trolling at the top of the tide for Striped Bass with Rattle-Traps and Broken Rebels (pearl white, chrome and blue). The Sturgeon bite is still wide open see the picture on the left. Brad said they are stacked up in there! As we said last week there is a good boat launch at Cuttings Wharf as well as some great shore fishing. Click here for a map!
- Petaluma River: Rays, Bass and still Surgeon. The Sturgeon have been jumping like crazy and you just have to weed through the Ray's to get to the Sturgeons. At low tide today Captain Joel saw a bunch of Bat Ray's just below the surface and says they are in abundance.
- San Pablo Bay: 7 Gills have been spawning at the Pumphouse and we recommend only keeping the Male fish. There are still Rays, Sturgeon (see pic below) and Bass here as well.
- We recommend that you do not try to boat into our slough right now. The mud is pretty thick and if you can just stop by before you launch. We hate to see you guys mess up your engine kicking up mud on the bottom of a tide. Until they dredge you gotta drive here before you launch.

Tony Graue and his Wife fished the Channel out the mouth of the Petaluma River toward the San Pablo Bay and anchored between markers 7 and 9 on Monday. They fought this 62" for 20 minutes. They also reported a 32" and many missed bites but action to say the least.
