IRS WON'T GRANT RICHMOND TEA PARTY TAX EXEMPT STATUS
The Richmond Tea Party group is blasting the IRS for allegedly failing to grant tax exempt status to the pro-limited government organization.
"The Internal Revenue Service has served Richmond Tea Party (RTP) with unreasonable requests to obtain a tax-exempt status, fitting the pattern of the Federal Government's forcing liberty groups to spend inordinate time and money complying with their demands during this critical 2012 election year," RTP claims in a press release.

OHIO JUSTICE REJECTS DEATH PENALTY LAW HE WROTE
As a young state senator 30 years ago, Paul Pfeifer helped write Ohio's death penalty law. Today, as the senior member of the state Supreme Court, he's trying to eliminate it.
It's not uncommon for sitting judges to change their mind on the death penalty - U.S. Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun famously said in 1994 he would no longer "tinker with the machinery of death" - but Pfeifer may be the only one to argue so ardently against a capital punishment law he himself created, and yet continue to rule on death penalty cases.

MAYA ANGELOU: 'BARACK OBAMA HAS DONE A REMARKABLE JOB'
There has always been something bittersweet about the life experience of Maya Angelou. Think of the literature fashioned from a harsh and tragic upbringing in racially segregated Missouri and Arkansas: I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings; Wouldn't Take Nothing for my Journey Now.
Think of her triumphs articulating the struggle of African Americans through the civil rights era. Consider that each year, her birthday, 4 April, brings with it both joy and painful memories. Who would share that anniversary with the assassination of her friend, Martin Luther King?

FORECLOSURES ON THE RISE AGAIN
After a year-long reprieve from rising foreclosures, the numbers are going up again.
One in every 624 U.S. households received a foreclosure filing in January, up 3 percent from the previous month, according to a new report from RealtyTrac. Foreclosure activity froze in many states in 2011, due to processing delays after fraud, or so-called "Robo-signing," were uncovered in the fall of 2010. The thaw is now on.

THE CAMPAIGN TO UNDERMINE MARCO RUBIO
There seems to be an orchestrated effort emerging to undermine Sen. Marco Rubio. At least, that's how it looks.
On the heels of that recent and terribly flawed Reuters story, there have been multiple other shots fired his direction. Some of this may simply speak to Rubio's level of activity and effectiveness. But the assault hardly seems organic.

The Rubio-Obama administration skirmish - sloppy, confusing and still largely unresolved - could presage an even bigger, sloppier and more confusing Rubio-Obama political battle this fall.

GOP TRIES RARE TACTIC TO BLOCK OBAMA RULESRepublicans in Congress launched bids Thursday to nullify Obama administration rules that would speed up union elections and set the first national air pollution standards for toxic mercury pollution from the nation's power plants.
The rarely used tactic, known as a resolution of disapproval, requires a simple majority for passage. Both have only a small chance of clearing the Senate, but a vote would force some Democrats to take a public stand on two volatile issues in an election year.

MAN SAYS ENOUGH POLITICAL CORRECTNESS
Veteran South Florida lawyer Peter Feaman was listening to a pastor speak about the Quran at a Rotary Club meeting more than six years ago when his world was rattled.
"The presentation was so negative," Feaman told WND, "that I didn't believe him."
"I had been told that Islam was a religion of peace, by our president among others," he said referring to George W. Bush. "So I started to do my own research. And as I got into it, it was like, 'Holy cow, this is nothing like I've been told, either by the mainstream media or by college and university.'"

They're saying that it was absent a milk or milk equivalent. So they ran and got some chicken nuggets and made the kid eat the chicken nuggets."

BLACK LIBERALS SHOULD BE ASHAMED
As we know, it is liberals' proclivity for projection that compels black liberals to deride conservatives of color as sellouts, Uncle Toms and things of this nature, when it is they who are acceding to the dominion of progressive overlords and advancing that cause. Among the progressive overlords are factions that not only are conspiring to compromise black Americans socially, culturally and economically, but which would have kept blacks in the back of the bus and drinking from their own water fountains had they been able to maintain the status quo in segregated America.
Yet, black liberals - prominent ones, more especially - continue to advance the socialist doctrine of their overseers, with relish and most vociferously, to be sure. Some have taken it to a high art, while others rail as inarticulately as severe brain injury patients, astonishing us with the fact that they have not only gained employment doing so, but made lucrative careers out of deceiving their fellow Americans of high melanin content.
