USHLI President Meets with Mexican Ambassador
USHLI President, Dr. Juan Andrade, recently met with Mexico's Ambassador to the United States, the Honorable Arturo Sarukhan, in Washington, DC. The meeting focused on the leadership development needs of the growing Mexican community with dual citizenship living in the United States. Dr. Andrade also invited the Ambassador to be a featured speaker at USHLI's national conference in 2009.

USHLI at Sox Game

USHLI staff and volunteers joined more than 300 students at Latino College Night and watched the Chicago White Sox defeat the Cleveland Indians. USHLI is very grateful for the many friends who volunteer to help throughout the year and this special occasion provided an excellent opportunity to show our appreciation. Volunteers were treated to a festive pre-game party and exciting baseball game. USHLI hopes to make this an annual event.
