ISEF's mission is to help secure Israel's future, by providing access to higher education for those who need and deserve it most -- Israel's bright youth from underprivileged communities.  

 

Since 1977, ISEF has invested in developing Israel's single greatest natural resource - the minds of its young people. Reaching into immigrant and working-class areas of Israel, ISEF has opened the doors of higher education to over 6,000 promising young people who otherwise might never have escaped the vicious cycle of poverty and earned their degrees.

 

More than just a scholarship, ISEF's unique menu of support and leadership development programs helps ensure success.  Over 90% of ISEF's scholars finish their degrees, and many go on for graduate study - again with ISEF's support.  Some even earn their Ph.D.s at world-renowned institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, and Oxford. No other scholarship organization provides such continuity of support.
