Greetings!
 It is a wonderful blessing to continue working for our Lord Jesus Christ in the ministry in Nebaj. Carolina and I have been experiencing the wonder of being parents and all the blessings of the Lord that come to us as we serve Him. It is so wonderful to be under His protection and love and we see it all the time! I wanted to say hello to all of you that have been so faithful in your prayers and in your gifts to help us in the service to our Lord Jesus Christ for whom we live and are saved for eternity. Thank you for all you do for Him and for us in this ministry. May the Lord bless you and protect you in all you do.

Blessings for us and for the People of Nebaj
 On September 26, Dr. Lopez, Carolina and I delivered our first baby inside the SMVE (Servicios Médicos Vida y Esperanza) (Life and Hope Medical Services) of Missionary Ventures Nebaj.
We feel very blessed by our Lord to be able to now offer this kind of service in Nebaj.
In the past, only the public hospital and poorly trained midwives did deliveries in Nebaj. It was a poor quality of service for the women of Nebaj and they deserved better than what was available to them. We are presently focusing on providing a good service with lots of educational information and training to the parents so they can better care for their babies. We also offer epidural anesthesia as an option for our patients. This is a new type of service for them and many are very interested in this option. We pray that the Lord will keep blessing this new ministry of the hospital. Please keep us in your prayers.
More Blessings for us and for the people of Nebaj
As a miracle from the Lord, He has sent us another new staff member for the hospital - a surgeon! We have adapted and improved the OR and the clinic areas to be able to accommodate surgery. Thanks to our God Jesus Christ, we now have 3 doctors: 2 general practitioners (Dr. Lopez and myself) and the surgeon, Dr. Berner Esteban Caal. This has allowed us to do 24 hour rounds and also do the deliveries without stopping the general consultations. Please keep praying for us and the new surgeon who is a real blessing for this area.
