Bay Area Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse (BACALA) is a grassroots movement of people concerned that lawsuit abuse hurts Corpus Christi area families and employers and can ultimately cost jobs and limit access to all types of goods and services. 

 

BACALA is joined by four other chapters (East Texas, Houston, Central Texas, and Rio Grande Valley) in spreading the CALA movement throughout Texas since 1990.
