PHILADELPHIA --- Repent America (RA) is announcing the launch of the Campaign to Stop Curtis Bay Energy as it reproves and exposes another medical waste company that is collecting, transporting and incinerating the fetal remains of aborted children and the items used in killing them. Included in the campaign is the official launch of StopCurtisBay.com, which outlines Curtis Bay Energy's collaboration with notorious abortionist James Pendergraft and honors the lives of two of his most publicized victims. While this month marks 39 years since the unconstitutional and ungodly Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade, which has resulted in the violent deaths of over 52 million babies and counting, the campaign is working to turn the tide against corporate facilitation of the abortion holocaust. 

Curtis Bay Energy is a multi-million dollar medical waste company that is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, and also has offices in Pinellas Park, Florida and Reading, Pennsylvania. It operates incineration plants in Baltimore and St. Petersburg, Florida. The company's president, Steven Groenke, is a millionaire and lives in the lap of luxury.

In December 2011, after a local medical waste company stopped collecting abortion "waste" from Pendergraft's Orlando Women's Center, and a replacement company also declined to service the location, it was reported that Curtis Bay Energy then began partnering with the facility. During telephone conversations with representatives, it was discovered that Curtis Bay Energy has been collecting "waste" from nearly all of Pendergraft's other facilities in Florida. Regretfully, President Steven Groenke ignored the ministry's multiple attempts to discuss its serious concerns regarding Curtis Bay Energy's assistance to the abortion industry. Therefore, the Campaign to Stop Curtis Bay Energy was launched as a nationwide effort to urge the public to be a voice against the medical waste company's collaboration with Pendergraft and all abortionists. 

Abortionist James Pendergraft

Abortionist James Pendergraft is known for his checkered and sordid past. He has been in trouble with the law on numerous occasions, and has consequently been imprisoned and has had his "medical" license suspended four times. He has paid tens of thousands of dollars in fines for his unlawful and unethical behavior as well as hundreds of thousands in administrative costs. In 2007, Pendergraft's license was suspended for performing illegal late-term abortions, and he is currently attempting to circumvent state law, which prohibits abortions after 24 weeks, unless for health reasons. Since the law requires such abortions to be performed in a hospital and with the signature of two physicians, and Pendergraft claims that no hospital will perform an abortion in the state if there is a heartbeat, he sends Florida mothers to his "secret" late-term abortion facility in the Washington, D.C. area to have their babies killed by lethal injection and then dismembered.

"Curtis Bay Energy's collaboration with abortionist James Pendergraft is as wrongful and sickening as the business partnerships with Hitler in the 1940's as he plotted to accomplish the mass genocide of the Jews," campaign director Michael Marcavage stated. "The babies that are being murdered at Pendergraft's facilities have beating hearts and measurable brain waves, and should be shown love instead of being treated as trash," he added. "We are committed to pursuing and exposing Curtis Bay Energy, its president, owner, suppliers and clients until it stops furthering the abortion holocaust in our nation," Marcavage concluded. Repent America launched its sister effort, the Campaign to Stop Stericycle (CSS), in January of last year. CSS has seen much success as two nationally-known truck leasing companies have stopped Stericycle from using their trucks to assist abortionists nationwide.
