In order to get the $1500 Florida Energy Star Rebate you must have a Class 1 Energy Rater certify that your Air Ducts leak less than 15%. We employ 2 Class 1 Energy Raters that can certify your duct test. We are the only residential air conditioning contractor in your service area that employs a Class 1 Energy Rater. Therefore, our cost of certification is lower.
Many homes will need a retest, we do not charge for any re-testing. If a company does not seal the ducts before testing and does not get them to leak less than 15% air loss, you will have to pay them twice for the test. Duct certification tests can run around $500 per test. We only charge a one-time fee of $275, any retest is free.
