Due to the overwhelming success, the Carrier Marketing team is extending their Spring Cool Choices program through August 31, 2010. Cool Choices which was originally scheduled March 1, 2010 thru July 30, 2010 offers saving up to $1,325 on the InfinityŽ and Performance™ products. We have helped over 300 Home Owners upgrade their AC Units since March 1, 2010. In addition, this same product line is also eligible for the Federal Stimulus Tax Rebate which offers additional savings up to $1,500.00. This is a great incentive to upgrade your inefficient unit to one that is more efficient and consumes less energy, thus lowering your utility bill. There really has never been a better time to upgrade an inefficient AC Unit, many consumers even qualify for a rebate from their Utility Company.

| Air Conditioning Expert to Lead New Port Richey Branch |
Patrick McCarthy, a distinguished 40-year veteran of the air conditioning industry, has been appointed by Bay Area Air Conditioning and Heating as manager of its New Port Richey branch. Mr. McCarthy is well-known in Florida circles as an air conditioning guru having spent twenty years in various statewide leadership positions with Carrier Corporation, the world's leading air conditioning manufacturer. Pasta Cruda
This months recipe was shared by Dee Mahler-Castillo, Marketing Manager. Dee joined Bay Area in February 2010. This Recipe is perfect for the summer; fresh tomatoes abound and very little cooking....another way to Keep You Cool!
1 finely chopped shallot
2 -3 Garlic cloves, finely minced
2 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 T. Balsamic Vinegar
2 pounds tomatoes, chopped
1/4 C. Fresh Basil chopped
S&P to taste
1 # pasta - Gemelli or Rotini work well
Fresh Parmesan or Ricotta - if desired
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine Shallots, Garlic, EVOO, Balsamic, Tomatoes and Basil. Let stand, stirring occasionally. Taste and season with S&P to your taste.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Drain pasta, toss with sauce, top with Fresh Grated Parmesan or a dollop of Ricotta.
- Buon Appetito
NOTE: To save time, you can make the sauce in your food processor or blender. Experiment, use different fresh herbs, add hot pepper flakes.

Keep Air Flow Clear to the Outdoor Unit
The outdoor section of your cooling system needs adequate air flow to keep the capacity up and the operating cost down!
In general, there should be no obstruction within 12" of the sides that have air intakes; 6" clearance on ONE side ONLY is usually okay.
Trim shrubbery to at least those dimensions and don't install fences closer than that. Fencing should not block service access to equipment.
Remember, keeping the air flowing easily to the unit will save energy costs.
