A letter from the CEO of the Methodist Home

Dear friends and family of the Methodist Home,

Can you hear me over the whir of your air conditioner?? I hope you're all staying cool in this heat! Here at the Methodist Home we've been enjoying a lot of indoor activities, including a violin recital by the lovely Ella Stager, musical bingo with Jerry Roman, and a special concert put on by St. Paul's United Methodist Church Youth Group Choir.

Our monthly Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group meets this month on Saturday, July 13th from 12 PM - 1:30 PM. Please see "Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group" at right below for more information.

Helping Senior Citizens Stay Active

Fox Ridge Senior Living in Little Rock, Arkansas recently took to the small screen (local television) to promote staying active and healthy living for senior citizens. We are excited to see assisted living facilities across the country engaging in this discussion, and we are certainly still enjoying our daily exercise programs and other physical activities here at the Methodist Home! The Art of Dance is one of our favorite ways to incorporate physical activity into our healthy lifestyles.
