What if a family member, friend, colleague or customer collapsed in front of you?

The City of Redmond is offering a one day training in personal preparedness and certification in First Aid and CPR.Space is limited. If you are interested in attending, please let us know immediately by contacting mapsreadycommittee@mapsredmond.org. Include your full name, email, phone number, and if you require any special accommodations. The Board will cover the cost of this training for a limited number of MAPS members on a first come, first serve basis.- Date: Saturday, April 8, 2017
- Time: Check-in begins at 8:30am, class is from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Location: Fire Station 17, 16917 NE 116th ST, Redmond WA 98052
- Bring a brownbag lunch as we work through the lunch hour.
- American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR and First Aid certification cards will be distributed in class
Information tables and vendors covering various aspects of preparedness and volunteer opportunities will be available.

Our front-end software development course will teach you to build fully functional web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and libraries as well as the basics of programming. Whether you're a beginner with basic computer skills, a web designer familiar with HTML and CSS, or in the early stages of learning programming, by the end of the class you'll have knowledge of basic data structures and understand how to implement basic algorithms to produce full blown web applications.

Alhamdullilah MAPS Food Festival in past years has been great turn out. In shaa Allah this year attraction will not only be the food galore and bazaar, it also includes a LEGO Exhibition by the Seattle Lego Team.

- Public Relations (working with other groups, making group comfortable for existing and new members, etc), led by Aiya Siddig
- Event Planning (help organizing volunteering events, discussion topics, etc) led by Haykal Mubin
- Advertising (Utilizing social media, tabling and other methods to advertise for the youth group) led by Habiba Youssef
