The leaves are turning to beautiful Fall colors ...
                   Have you been to Trackrock?

Time is starting to run short to make reservations for camping in October!   We do have some weekday stays available and sites open for the last weekend of October and the first weekend of November.

We are adding some activities for the weekend of October 26-28.

Hilda Broom will join us at the lakeside bonfire for storytelling at 5:30pm - just before the hayride at 6pm.

We will also have a a campsite decorating contest that will be judged at 4pm on Saturday, October 25th.  Be the winner and receive a FREE night of camping!

Come enjoy the Fall season in the North Georgia Mountains and join in on the fun at Trackrock!
Out and About at Trackrock...
The fact that Henry Armstrong was buried did not seem to him to prove that he was dead; he had always been a hard man to convince.  The testimony of his senses made him admit he was really buried - flat upon his back with hands crossed upon his stomach, the black darkness and profound silence - but dead?  No!  He was only very, very ill...

To hear the rest of this story, and others too, be sure to join us at the bonfire by the lake on Saturday night, October 27th at 5:30  for Hilda Broom's annual Halloween appearance.
Thanksgiving Reservations

We still have a good selection of camping spots available for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Stuff your bird in the car, grab a sweater and head to Blairsville.  There are several great craft shows and lots of other shopping to get a jump on your holiday shopping without the crowds.  You can also stop by Southern Tree Plantation http://www.southerntreeplantation.com and pick out (or cut your own) your Christmas tree.  Come to the mountains for the holiday - a great time is practically guaranteed!

It's time to get your name on Frank's winterizing list!  Call us ASAP at

706-745-2420 or email us at trackroc@windstream.net to make your arrangements.  Don't be left out in the cold!

If your RV is in storage at Trackrock, we do provide a winterizing service.  Your entire system is drained, air blown through the lines and a non-toxic antifreeze is put in.  The cost for this service is only $50.00.  If you have not already done so, let us know if you would like to have your rig winterized.  http://www.trackrock.com
