Grand Opening Celebration
Trinity Early Childhood Center will hold their Grand Opening Celebration, Sunday, August 2, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 224 W. 95th Street, Naperville.

Position Available: Zion Lutheran Church, Bensenville

Part Time Office Administrator
Zion Lutheran Church, 865 Church Road, Bensenville, is seeking a part-time (20-25 hours per week) office administrator to oversee all administrative duties related to the school and church office. Interested candidates can request a copy of the position description at contact@zionconcord.org.

Positions Available: St. John Lutheran Early Learning Center, Darien
Teachers for Three-Year-Olds and Four-Year-Olds
St. John Lutheran Early Learning Center (ELC) at 7214 South Cass Avenue in Darien has two open teaching positions for the upcoming academic year beginning August 31, 2015, through May 25, 2016. Preschool teachers are needed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. to work with classes of three-year-old and four-year-old children.

An Illinois teaching license is required with an Early Childhood license preferred. Applicants should be a member in good standing of a Christian congregation, preferably one of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). Life Together - Two Special Events
The Northern Illinois District is hosting two events regarding our Life Together to be held Saturday, August 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1165 S. Westmore Meyers Road, Lombard. Two separate opportunities are offered. No charge.
  • 9:00 a.m.-Noon Mission Forum - This is an opportunity for congregation members to hear more about the New Starts...New Believers movement, get updates on progress, reflect on theological underpinnings and give feedback.
  • 12:00-1:00 p.m. Optional Lunch - $5; reserve ahead but pay at the door
  • 1:00-4:00 p.m. What Now? What Next? What If? - This is an opportunity for small churches and their leaders to be introduced to some of the paths chosen by others who wanted to be intentional about their future, both pros and cons.
