 2 Weeks Until the Disciple-Making SummitThe Disciple-Making Summit is an experiential conference designed to help you and your leadership team sharpen yourselves as disciple-makers who are carrying out our Lord's Great Commission.  July 15 Meeting for Parish Nurses On July 15, the Prayer, Planning, and Picnic meeting will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 4247 183rd Street, Country Club Hills, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring ideas for next year's meetings and please consider having a meeting at your church.

 Lost and Found Concert in Villa Park Lost and Found will perform at a benefit concert, Saturday, September 5, at 6 p.m. at the gazebo in Prairie Path Park, Park and Ardmore Streets, Villa Park. Concert donations will support ministry, including the local outreach programs of Voice of Care, an organization that equips the Church to serve people with disabilities and their caregivers. Concert goers are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs. Free will offering. More information is available by calling 630-834-3440.
Summer Guest Worship Artists Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1190 N. Hicks Road, Palatine, is hosting concerts/performances from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. on Sundays during the summer. Dates are:
June 14: Beth Galbreath - Biblical Storytelling June 28: Jill Paquette DeZwaan - Vocals and Guitar July 12: Denver Bierman - Trumpet July 26: Teresa Gardner - Liturgical Dance August 9: Tim Brinkman - Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist August 23: Randall Goodgame - Slugs & Bugs family friendly concert
The performances are between services. The artists will also be part of worship services (Saturdays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.) Contact 847-359-3451 for additional information.

Best Practices for Ministry Conference
You are invited to Best Practices for Ministry: Heartland. This conference is for LCMS pastors, church workers, and lay people. It begins at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, and concludes at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 18, at Carmel Lutheran Church, 4850 E Main Street, Carmel, Indiana.
