Key Lab High Shear Granulator:
KG-5 High Shear Granulator/Mixer
The KG-5 is a cost effective, state-of-the-art, bench top high shear granulator/mixer. This unit is ideal for R&D laboratory usage for the processing of small batches and has the flexibility for scale up. With a large touch-screen operator interface, the KG-5 is easy to use and generates meaningful product performance data.
- Interchangeable bowl system for different batch sizes (1 liter, 3 liter & 5 liter)

The Key VATD-550 vertical ascending tablet deduster is a high speed machine that removes excess dust from pressed pharmaceutical tablets. The VATD-550 is a very flexible machine that can accommodate different output speeds (up to 550,000 tablets/hour) and the height is adjustable to fit any type of tablet press.

Key Tablet Friability Tester:
FT-400 Friability Tester
The Key Tablet
Friability Tester (FT400) is used to determine, or test, the resistivity of tablets to breakage based on the loss in tablet weight due to breakage caused by induced mechanical stress. This easy to operate machine has two transparent acrylic drums with curved scoops that convey tablets upward, then drop at a prescribed height and speed.
- Two testing modes: Drop Count & Timed Test
- Drum speed of 25rpm
- Drums are assembled and removed quickly and easily for loading, unloading and clean up
- Drums are driven by a synchronous motor providing maximum accuracy
