Dear Friends of BBLA,

Last year in our July newsletter I introduced our friends, the Czech (Moravian) wine importers Vino z Czech. I was obviously very excited about promoting this young company and about introducing the "one click" opportunity to link with their internet wine store partner for deliveries on our website.

Over the past year I have tried every single variety imported by Vino z Czech - well, dear friends, somebody had to do it and I know you all appreciate how hard I am working on your behalf!  I have found a couple of favorites and am proud that our restaurant BKB offers several of these wines, as well. We just started the summer and the days are long; you owe it to yourself to try these wines.

Summer for us at the Bohemian National Hall is not just for jolly revelry, but it is also the time of our yearly renovations and heavy maintenance work to get us ready for the fall season. A big thank you to the team!

Before wishing you a wonderful time at the beach or under a tree somewhere quiet I would like to mention one very successful event held a couple of weeks ago on our third floor. The Kamil Kubik Foundation showcased a rich collection of Kubik's work. This event was also a fundraiser for the foundation and I want to congratulate the organizers for a flawless organization.

Thank you,

   JosephBalaz
