Dear Friends of the BBLA, Today, I would like to introduce you to Vino z Czech. When I met Noah and Cheryl Ullman for the first time, I was intrigued by their project of bringing Moravian wines into the United States. I was aware of some sporadic efforts made by others here and there, but this sounded serious. It is always great seeing enthusiastic entrepreneurs introducing new products or services, and doubly so, when the product comes from the Czech Republic and it is wine! Noah visits Moravian wineries several times a year, selecting what to bring in. Czech Wine Imports, Inc. offers their own collection, produced for them exclusively by a carefully selected maker. They also import a fine selection of other labels from the same region. Moravian wines have a long history and favorably compare with those from well-known regions such as France or Italy. I also noticed in the selection: a bottle of Stapleton-Springer Rouci, which I found interesting. Craig Stapleton was an American Ambassador to the Czech Republic between 2001-2004, and he loved Czech wines so much during his stay that he invested in a winery there and hence, the label. When you click on the Vino z Czech link on our website (in the News section), you will be taken to the distributor's site where you can order wine online. I have tried it and a couple of days later, three bottles arrived safely packed at my doorstep. Cheers (Na zdravi), Joseph Balaz, President Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association
