Farewell, Ben Seyller and Family
Ben and Jenn Seyller joined the Ranch in 2006 as houseparents at Laurel Ridge. After four years there, Ben transitioned to become the Media and Technology Coordinator. This January, Ben accepted a position with TEAM, a venerable missions organization. We love Ben and Jenn and their family. Please join us in thanking God for all that He did at the Ranch through them and praying for blessing on them as they continue to spread the Gospel in Ben's new position.

Along with his wife Ashley and their three children, Jermaine Primus has been part of Covenant Community Church for almost a year. His work experience with computers, customer service, and web design make him a natural fit for the Media and Technology Coordinator role at the Ranch. We thank God for bringing Jermaine and his family to us!

Greetings!
Today, I received a note from a precious young fellow who wrote simply, "Thank you Pastor Wood for letting me come to the ranch because you did not have to and I love you."
I am well aware that I am being thanked because of the generosity and prayers of hundreds of folks like you who give sacrificially so that I can say "yes" to children in need.
The challenges are enormous, and only the Lord can do what is needed. Amazingly, He chooses to work through people. Those who pray and those who give are His instruments. Thank you! And may God bless you richly!

Scout Trip to Charleston The Boy Scouts of Troop #278 recently camped out in Charleston, SC. While there, they visited the USS Yorktown and USS Laffey. "I liked going to see the USS Yorktown because we got to play tag on top of the ship!" --Michael T., 12 "The USS Yorktown was really interesting because there were a lot of weapons and artifacts about strategies they used in WWII." --Walter, 13 |
Mini-Courses During the weeks between Thanksgiving break and Christmas break, we take a little "step back" from school time and use the afternoon hours to engage in some short "mini" courses. These students made Bible parachutes for Voice of the Martyrs. When dropped over Columbia, each parachute will contain a Bible, Christian literature and a solar powered radio pre-set to two Christian stations. |
