Arbella Introduces Managed Care Program, Revises Workers' Comp Rates in CT
Arbella Insurance Group - Here for good

Arbella has signed a contract with CorVel, a national provider of managed care services, to offer a certified managed care program for our workers' compensation policyholders in Connecticut.

This new program offering coincides with our adoption of the latest NCCI loss costs, with no change to our loss cost multipliers or rate deviations; the result is an overall 2% rate decrease for workers' compensation in Connecticut.

The new rates and the availability of our managed care program apply to new and renewal business effective June 1, 2015.  When an Arbella policyholder opts to enroll in the certified managed care program, they may receive a credit on their policy premium. The credit can only be applied at the inception of the new or renewal policy term; it cannot be applied midterm.

CorVel's Managed Care Preferred Provider Network includes primary care and occupational care centers, physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities and other services. Utilization of network providers ensures prompt and appropriate medical treatment as well as improved communication between employee, employer and provider to the benefit of the injured worker.

For more information about our new managed care program, call your commercial underwriter or territory manager.

Thank you for your continued business and support.
Sincerely,

William S. Hughes, CPCU
Assistant Vice President, Commercial Lines
