St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center

January 20, 2015
Greetings!
Your generous donations throughout the year have helped St. Ambrose provide innovative programs for families in the Baltimore area.

These programs along with the expansion of services provided by St. Ambrose would not be possible without your help.

Thanks to your donations, here's a look at what we've accomplished in 2014!

Housing Development

Celebrated the milestone of restoring and selling over 500 vacant foreclosed homes in the past 14 years.  We presented the "Red Door Award" to Senator Mikulski and 7 other recipients honoring their long-term commitment to the Belair-Edison community, and the rehabilitation of 137 foreclosed homes.

Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake presided at the opening of the St. Ambrose Neighborhood Legal Clinic on March 13, 2014.  By expanding case acceptance policies, St. Ambrose Legal staff provided consultation to over 820 clients on legal and foreclosure issues.
Bill Rubin joined St. Ambrose as the Rental Services Director. We welcomed 10 new families to our Rental Program and performed sustainable energy upgrades in 54 units of our Union Ave Apartments.

We welcomed our new Director of Homesharing, Karen Heywood-West and launched the Financial Literacy Workshops, that served over 80 clients.

We are looking forward to what we can do in 2015!

Sincerely,

Gerard Joab
