College Interns Can Now Sign Up for PULSE Talent
PULSE, the Chamber's young professional's organization, has started registration for its 2013 Talent program.
This program, which is sponsored by ScanSource, is aimed at allowing interns with Greenville Chamber member businesses to learn more about what the Upstate has to offer. This summer program includes an opening night event, a PULSE Leadership Luncheon, a PULSE social, a Greenville Drive baseball game, a walking tour of downtown, a behind the scenes kitchen tour of the Table 301 group, a CEO roundtable at the Commerce Club and more.
Talent retention has been identified as a critical need by the Chamber via the annual Regional Economic Scorecard. And as part of the Chamber's LEAD Initiative, one of the main goals of PULSE is to create leadership opportunities for young professionals so they will be more inclined to stay in the area. "This is PULSE's way for our young professionals to give back to the community and foster a key Greenville Chamber initiative," said John Boyanoski, 2013 PULSE chairman.
Companies interested in sending interns through the program can click here to sign them up. Cost is $35 per intern. Space is limited and the program starts on May 30.
