Greetings!

Tri-School College Night!
Monday, October 22nd - 6:45 - 8:30pm

TRI SCHOOL COLLEGE NIGHT IS HERE!  On Monday, October 22nd the Servite Counseling Office in conjunction with Rosary and Connelly will be hosting representatives from over 120 colleges and universities.  We invite sophomores, juniors and seniors to attend this event that will be held in the Servite gym from 6:45 - 8:30pm.   There will also be classroom sessions every 25 minutes offered by a select few college representatives.  For seniors this is a great opportunity to learn more about the schools they will be applying to as well as a chance to meet the representative that will be reviewing their application.  Additionally, this serves as a great informational and often motivating opportunity for sophomores and juniors just beginning to think about where they will spend the next four years after graduating from Servite.

Click here for a list of the colleges attending!

We look forward to seeing you there! Any questions please contact the Counseling Office.

International Servite Schools Network

Servite Sophomores headed to Nebraska!

Last week, Servite sophomores A.J. Carty, Tim Getscher, Zach Meneses,

Alex Lee, Michael Rubalcava, and Connor Saeman travelled to Marian High School in Omaha, Nebraska, to serve as representatives at the first ever International Servite Schools Network (ISSN) student conference. Marian High School is the only other school in the U.S. sponsored by the Servants of Mary, an all-girls high school with an enrollment of about 700. The three other schools represented were Servite College in Perth, Australia, Blanche de Castille in Paris, France, and Servite College in Quebec, Canada. All of the participants were generously hosted during their stay by Marian students and their families.

Over the course of the two day conference, students shared presentations that they had prepared which described ways that their respective schools bring to life the core values of the Servite Order. Time was also dedicated to preliminary design ideas for an official ISSN logo, a potential international service day benefitting the Servite missions, and a second student conference. The next conference is tentatively set for 2014 and the five inaugural schools hope to sponsor Servite schools from the developing world that might not otherwise be able to attend.

After the conference, the students spent the weekend exploring Omaha and enjoying free time with their host families. Throughout the duration of their stay in Omaha, our men of Servite received countless compliments on their professionalism, enthusiasm, and overall gentlemanly behavior. We hope that this is the beginning of many more opportunities for our students to connect with their Servite brothers and sisters all over the globe!

Did you know that the Kitchen windows are staffed by our young men of Servite? Front of the house management is conducted and supervised by Trinity Corporation management and they accomplish great things every day in partnership with our great cooking staff. On average we serve over 800 meals daily and we are proud to say this is done within 15 minutes of the start of each service. We are really proud of these young men.
