Spirit Week was a success! Thank you to all who joined us at the Homecoming Dance! We also had a wonderful time at the Friar Feast on Friday, if you didn't make it, you missed out and we hope you will join us next year!

Junior & Senior Parents!
Class Ring Orders!
It's time to order Class Rings! Jostens will be on campus on Thursday, September 13th during lunch to take Junior & Senior Class Ring Orders. They will also be available to service rings, if your son needs any repairs or resizing have him bring the ring to school on the 13th. If your son has not yet ordered his Servite Class Ring he can do so on the 13th as well.

Graduation will be here before we know it. Jostens will also be on campus for the ordering of Graduation Announcements on Wednesday, November 7th. More information will be sent regarding Graduation orders next month.

Tri-School Theatre
Cappies Writing Team & Fall Show Auditions!
CAPPIES CRITICS WRITING TEAM
Are you a strong writer who enjoys attending productions? Tri-School Theatre is proud to have an award-winning Cappies team-and applications for this year are due on Friday, September 14th at 5:00pm. The Cappies is a writing program where students become theatre critics. Our team attends shows at other high schools and writes reviews of the productions. The top 2 reviews from each show are published in the Orange County Register Online Edition. Students who are critics also have the opportunity to vote at the end of the year for awards in performance and technical theatre. If you are interested in applying for the team, please e-mail team mentor, Ms. Dya Cangiano at dcangiano@servitehs.org for an application.
TRI-SCHOOL THEATRE FALL SHOW AUDITIONS
Students, have you thought about auditioning for a Tri-School show? There is a FREE audition workshop on Monday, September 17th from 3:30-5:30 in the theatre. Learn what happens at an audition, and have a chance to meet the directing team and practice your audition. This workshop is open to all grade levels and experiences. Questions about the workshop? The fall show, Almost, Maine auditions on Tuesday, September 18th from 3:30-9:00 (though not everyone will be asked to stay the whole time-students will be released as early as possible). This show is a romantic comedy and has lots of roles, so it's a great first show for anyone. To audition for this production, students must be enrolled in a fall or year-long Tri-School class. This is the only show this year with this requirement. Fan Gear Store, Fresh Kitchen and Trinity Corp News!
New mini helmet in the Store, and Job Fair!
Good news, the Official Servite Fan Gear Store will be open for business at our very first home game of the season at Cerritos College on Friday night the 14th versus traditional rival Edison High School! Gates will open at 6:30pm with all the latest and newest items for fan survival. Stadium chairs, pom poms, seat cushions, hoodies, caps, schedule t-shirts and much, much more. Our latest arrival of the week is the Official Servite football mini helmet just in time to gather autographs from all the players! See us back at campus after the game in our new location! Go Friars!
We are glad to welcome a new purveyor to our Food Services departments. Family Tree Produce joins our list of carefully selected vendors bringing us fresh produce from "farm to fork" in a network that emphasizes healthy growing and organic control. Owned by The Guzman family, alumni from 2006, we are proud to offer our staff and students the best in produce, fruits and vegetables.
Trinity Corporation, together with Future Business Leaders, classes and Mrs. Kara Montgomery are in the initial stages of planning the 2012-2013 Job Fair calendar. Last year, we held two fairs resulting in over 25 business partners and 15 placements for part time work. Knotts Berry Farm, Disneyland, Chick-Fil-A, LaVecke Corporation, and the Junior All American Football program in Corona were just some of the businesses and operations who participated and have also expressed interest in returning. We will keep you posted as to our progress.
