Spring Testing: With spring comes a wide variety of standardized tests that Walton must administer.
Georgia Milestones End of Course Test: This year, Georgia will be implementing the Georgia Milestones End of Course Test to replace the previous EOCT. These tests have been redesigned to reflect new content and process standards. The Mathematics and English sections of the test are 70 minutes in length. In order to accommodate this amount of time, as well as use of the limited amount of computers at school, we will be following a modified bell schedule from Monday, April 27 until Thursday, May 14. While not every class will meet each day, students will receive equal instruction time over a two day period. For a list of test dates, visit the webpage: Spring Testing
Advanced Placement: The Advanced Placement tests will be given from Monday, May 4, through Friday, May 15, and will follow the schedule designed by the College Board. Click here for a full schedule: AP Testing. Students who are taking a morning exam must arrive by 7:30 a.m. Please note the buses do not arrive in time to begin this exam. Afternoon exams begin at 12:00 pm with students arriving by 11:30 am to be seated. The length of the exams varies from 2.5 to 3.5 hours. Students will receive detailed information regarding locations of exams.

This information is posted on the WHS Counseling website under the "Curriculum" tab or you may direct link to it here. Sophomores should have received a copy of the R-SAT/R-PSAT handout in homeroom.
