Renovation at Alcoa Conference Center projected for Nov. 5 completion

ALCOA, Tenn. -- Eight years after the Holston Conference headquarters moved from Knoxville to Alcoa, the building at 217 South Rankin is undergoing construction to make more room for staff members and to meet fire-code requirements.

CHICAGO -- About 200 bishops, conference leaders, pastors and others attended "Do No Harm," a sexual ethics summit in Chicago on Oct. 15-17. Bishop Taylor was a member of the design team.
