Once the blossoms are in bloom, visit on a Wednesday and take a tour. Or on Saturdays and Sundays, take a tour of the seasonal highlights of the garden.  Then, as part of the festival, visit April 25 & 26 for the Sakura Matsuri, a weekend celebrating Japanese culture.

It's a "community backyard," maintained by volunteers from the surrounding neighborhood. There are no plots tended by individual gardeners, instead members collaborate on the landscaping of the whole park. Open to the public.
