NOTABLE: The Mermaid InnGreenwich Village: 79 Macdougal Street Seafood Although there are a few locations in the city, I really enjoy the one on MacDougal Street... an iconic street that was home to my maternal grandparents. It's an upscale-casual seafood restaurant that serves a blue plate special every Tuesday night. Besides an incredible assortment of oysters and raw bar, they offer the best seafood platters.
