Norma's Weekly Member Snapshot:
Viva Italia!

Tribute in Light

As we remember September 11th (14 years later), take the time to look downtown to see the Tribute in Light, twin beams shining from dusk on September 11th, through dawn on the 12th. Visible within a sixty-mile radius on a clear night, it honors those who were lost and those who worked so hard to get our city through the horrific tragedy.

Did you know that New York City has the largest population of Italian Americans in the USA?  With Little Italy's annual Feast of San Gennaro (through September 20th) celebrating with food, music and a cannoli eating contest, I've decided to highlight some Italian inspiration in the heart of NYC. From my favorite Italian restaurants to pasta making classes and, visit the Special Feature section for ways to get into the spirit and honor Italian culture and history.

Ciao!
