Norma's Weekly Member Snapshot: Outdoor Flicks & Picnics
Everything outdoors is better in the summer...with all the options for eating, drinking, exercising, and taking in live music, calendars are easily filled with activities. Watching movies on lawns under the stars is a favorite pastime of mine and is always a seasonal tradition for Manhattanites.
This week's Special Feature, Outdoor Flicks, highlights the opportunities to enjoy the fresh air with friends while seeing some old and new movie favorites. I've even included my picks for each summer series and the best nearby places to grab your picnic feast.

The High Line (West 13th & Washington Streets)
Every Tuesday until October you can peek into high powered telescopes on the High Line and chat with the experts.
If you can't attend in person, there will be many restaurants and bars celebrating the Belmont Stakes... my top pick is The Plaza Hotel. The Todd English Food Hall at The Plaza has been hosting viewing parties for each of the Triple Crown Racing Events. Cocktails and a special race-inspired menu curated by Chef Todd English.
