For the past seven months, we have shared information (position, function, color, etc.) about each of the seven Chakras. Chakras are energy centers located throughout the body - from the root chakra (at the base of the spine) to the crown chakra (at the top of the head) that allow energy to flow from one part of the body to another.

 

Chakras open and close according to our emotions and our state of mind. Many things can affect this flow of energy: emotional tragedies, suffering, surgery, and more. If these chakras are not balanced, it can lead to everything from physical symptoms, such as headaches or insomnia, to emotional symptoms, such as restlessness or indecisiveness.

 

To heal, is to bring the chakras into alignment and balance. When there is balance among the chakras, you have maximum vitality, health and you just feel your best. There are many ways to balance the subtle energies of the Chakras - including guided imagery, color therapy, meditation, and energy works, such as Reiki.
