The American Alliance of TMD Organizations has been created to represent the broad interests of professional organizations and their member practitioners who understand the importance of effective diagnosis and treatment of cranio-oro-facial disorders.

The following is a newsletter with information relating to how we are working to support you and your patient's ability to receive the quality TMD care that you render.

Maney Publishing will be publishing CRANIO: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice

Maney Publishing is pleased to announce that it has purchased and will publish CRANIO: The Journal of Craniomandibular & Sleep Practice from the beginning of 2014.  The journal will continue to be edited by its founder Dr. Riley Lunn, who has been the editor throughout the journal's 31-year history. Dr. Lunn has an extensive background in craniofacial pain and temporomandibular joint dysfunction studies. The journal covers sleep medicine and temporomandibular disorders, but is multidisciplinary, with editorial board members from all areas of medicine and dentistry, including general dentists, oral surgeons, orthopaedists, radiologists, orthodontists, chiropractors, professors and behavioural scientists, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and osteopathic and ear, nose and throat physicians.

Dr. Lunn welcomes the journal's move to Maney Publishing: "With the acquisition of a qualified global publisher like Maney, CRANIO will have more opportunity to be promoted in developing countries throughout the world. It will be better positioned to be placed into libraries around the world, and to further enhance CRANIO's image and influence. I look forward to the exciting fusion of CRANIO with Maney Publishing."

Kim Martin, Executive Publisher, added: "We are very pleased to include this journal in our Health Science list and believe it is an important addition to our collection. The journal is a significant part of the literature, and we look forward to working with Dr. Lunn to continue to offer a high-quality journal."
