The January 15 deadline for application to the new Executive Leadership in Academic Technology and Engineering program (ELATE at Drexel) - a program modeled after ELAM but tailored to women in the STEM fields - is also rapidly approaching.
The ELATE at Drexel program launched in 2012, and is currently hosting its third class of Fellows - remarkable leaders from engineering, computing science, math, physics, and other sciences. They come from a wide range of universities and colleges ranging from strong research universities to colleges that support the advancement of minority faculty. National recognition has been strong. Since its first fellowship year, ELATE at Drexel has been recognized with awards from the National Science Foundation, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, the Henry Luce Foundation, and the Women in Engineering ProActive Network (WEPAN).
We encourage you to distribute information about this program to your colleagues in these fields. More information about the program is available on our flyer and on the program website. Applications for ELATE are also due January 15, 2015. Please contact us with any questions!

Cambridge Leadership Associates presents Leading Adaptive Change in Healthcare
March 9-10, 2015
CLA Headquarters, New York City With the rollout of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the healthcare sector is in a state of unprecedented flux. Organizations must drive out inefficiencies, increase quality and access, shift toward patient-centric models and increase their focus on population health - significant challenges by any account, but even more so for a system wrought with fragmentation. Those organizations who are best able to collaborate across silos, develop an experimental mindset and tap the energy and passion which initially drove their people into this type of work, will prove most adaptable.
Leading Adaptive Change in Healthcare is an intensive two-day session designed to provide managers and executives with the tools to thrive in this dynamic healthcare environment. Adaptation requires the development of observation and reflection skills, the capacity to generate multiple interpretations and the ability to plan deliberate interventions. You will gain and apply these skills to a critical business challenge and leave equipped to work more strategically across your organization in order to make immediate impact.
The program is open to the public in the private, non-profit and government sectors.
