Help Your Co-Workers This Holiday Season through Values in Action
You never know what's going on in someone's private life. Unforeseen circumstances like unemployment, illness, house fires or unexpected emergencies can strain a family's finances. That can make it difficult --- or impossible to --- have a happy holiday season.
Bon Secours Virginia's Values in Action offers an opportunity for employees to help their colleagues in need feel the hope, celebration and spirit of the season.
Employees, individually or as a group, can sign up to sponsor a family. And if you --- or a coworker --- need a little help this year, we can make that happen. Employees requesting help must have a child 13 years or younger residing in their home.
The Bon Secours Family Centers team annually organizes the program in partnership with our Employee Assistance Program. Review this flier for more information about how you can either help or possibly receive help.
 |
The Values in Action program helped 118 families last year in Virginia, and more than 2,000 since its inception 20 years ago.
|
The deadline to request assistance or sponsor a family is Dec. 2.

New Website to Replace BonSecoursWellness.com
To prepare for the launch of a new Bon Secours health and well-being website in October, BonSecoursWellness.com will shut down at the end of this month. Sept. 30 will be the last day the site will be available to employees.
This new website is part of a new partnership between Bon Secours and two leaders in health and well-being: U.S. Preventive Medicine and the Cleveland Clinic.
Because we are transitioning to a new vendor, all data on the BonSecoursWellness.com will not transfer. The only exception is the 2016 biometric screening data from your Personal Health Assessment. As always, all of your data will be held in confidence and individual biometric screening results will not be shared with Bon Secours.
In early October, watch for information about the new website, including the new url and how to set up an account as a new user on the site.
