Breaking Ground for Good Help

Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System broke ground earlier this month for a new medical plaza on the campus of Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View. The $20 million project includes a 58,000-square-foot, two-story facility that will offer a comprehensive, outpatient cancer institute that will serve one of the most rapidly growing communities in Hampton Roads.
Construction should be complete by September 2016.
"The new Bon Secours Harbour View Medical Plaza will have a tremendous impact on the service and care for people with cancer in the western Hampton Roads community," said Michael K. Kerner, CEO, Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System.
"Our community continues to suffer from high morbidity and mortality rates related to cancer, and we aim to lower these rates and ultimately provide a more convenient, complete center for patients and their families."
