Required ACA & Plan First Data Collection
The Office of Population Affairs (OPA), funder of Title X, is requesting data on enrollment activities again for the 2014-2015 enrollment period to give us a snapshot of how Title X service sites are continuing to impact national enrollment efforts.
Reporting Period
OPA is requesting enrollment data from each service site for the period of April 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015.
Reporting Process
The data will be submitted online in a Survey Monkey and due to WMHS on Monday, April 20, 2015. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GNN58MG
Enrollment Data Collected
All enrollment activities that occur at a Title X service site should be reported, regardless of funding source. Each service site must submit a separate survey. This includes satellites. Each sub-recipient and satellite clinic must submit a separate survey per clinic.

HRSA REPORT EVALUATES TEXT4BABY | | HRSA REPORT EVALUATES TEXT4BABY
A new report produced for the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) by Mathematica Policy Research and Public Health Institute evaluates the Text4baby program from its February 2010 launch to late 2013. It uses data from national level stakeholder interviews and secondary data analyses, and from information collected at four community health centers via a consumer survey, interviews, and consumer focus groups. The evaluation found 99 percent of Text4baby subscribers said they would recommend the service to a friend or family member, subscribers report finding the messages easy to understand and useful, and more than half of subscribers save the referral telephone numbers for future use. On four critical topics - safe sleep, infant feeding, best time to deliver in a healthy pregnancy, and the meaning of full-term - Text4baby subscribers demonstrated a significantly higher level of health knowledge than women who had never heard of Text4baby and women who had heard of the program but did not sign up. The report also suggests that Text4baby has a role to play in integrated prenatal care, the program's public-private partnership is a unique asset, and partners believe in Text4baby. Partners appreciate Text4baby's ability to reach vulnerable populations with timely, tailored, and critical communications, and they report that subscribers value and benefit from a number of the program's unique features. Sex Talk During Well Visits
Physicians may be important sources of sexuality information and preventive services, and one-on-one confidential time during health maintenance visits is recommended to allow discussions of sexual development, behavior, and risk reduction. However, little is known about the occurrence and characteristics of physician-adolescent discussions about
