Development and the Tax Base

The Town of Chapel Hill and Orange County are behind our peers in percentage of commercial tax base, retail sales, and property tax revenue from commercial sources. In light of recent flooding that has afflicted many local businesses, the Chamber, SCORE and the Carolina Club bring you the Disaster Preparedness Seminar, 8:30-10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Carolina Club. The event is free and includes breakfast, but registration is required. Register online
