Chamber staff is thrilled to welcome you to our home - our office at 104 S. Estes Drive in Chapel Hill - for an Open House and Benefits Expo, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22. Not only will you share a beer with the coolest Chamber staff on the planet at the Open House and Benefits Expo, but you'll also learn about saving money with your membership! This event is free to attend, and no registration is required.

Announcing the Business Hall of Fame

The Chamber's inaugural Chapel Hill-Carrboro Business Hall of Fame will honor individuals with a record of achievement that demonstrates excellence in business management, entrepreneurial and courageous thinking and action, inspiring leadership, community impact, and whose time as a business leader made a substantial, positive and lasting impact on the greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro communities. 

 

We need your help to nominate worthy leaders for the 2013 Business Hall of Fame. Submit nominations online before Friday, Aug. 16. Our Hall of Fame Selection Committee will review nominations and select 2013 inductees. 

We will celebrate the 2013 Business Hall of Fame inductees at the black-tie Business Hall of Fame Gala, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at The Carolina Inn. Save the date, and stay tuned for information on ticket prices and online registration.

Get Your Data Fix at the State of the Community Report sponsored by Triangle Community Foundation

As the call for "data driven decisions" grows louder, it's important we understand our community.  The Chamber's annual  State of the Community Report sponsored by Triangle Community Foundation packs the punch of an in-depth look at community data. The only one of its kind in our community, the Report tracks the well-being of Chapel Hill-Carrboro along social, economic, and environmental indicators. Attendees will gain a comprehensive overview of the health of our community, including areas where we thrive and areas to improve.
