Spring Auction
 The Auction is fast approaching! March 9th is right around the corner! Buy your Auction 2013 tickets before January 25th and be entered into a drawing to win a family 5 pack of tickets to the CAL Bears Basketball Home game on February 28th! Auction tickets are available at www.donlonauction.webs.com. Tickets can also be purchased with a check! Simply visit the auction website and click on the order form tab in the upper right hand corner! Print the order form and drop it in the drop box in the front office! Hope to see you there!

 Teacher Appreciation Week Chair Needed The PFC is currently looking for a chair for its upcoming Teacher Appreciation Week. This year it is being held in May. This is not only a fun role, but much appreciated by each Teacher at Donlon. It requires someone with a bit of creativity and willingness to ensure that each teacher knows how much they are appreciated during the week. The PFC typically does something small each day and then wraps up the week with a nice luncheon. The PFC already has a few parents who are willing to help, so you will not be on your own. |
 Student Leadership Meeting The Student Leadership Meeting for January will take place on Thursday January 24th after school until 3:40 PM. All elected officials please meet in room C-15. |

Flag Salute
The January Flag Salute will take place on Friday January 25th at 10:55 AM. This month's theme will be sport's day, so wear your favorite sports team jersey or apparel.

Black Dragon Chess
Underlying its proven social and cognitive benefits, Chess is fun! Join us for the upcoming Winter session starting on January 25th, as we continue our journey into this fascinating game! The class will include individual and group instruction, as well as supervised play amongst the students. All ability levels are welcome, even if you've never played before. Previous students are also encouraged to continue. All materials provided. End of session prizes given. Flyer attached.

 Looking for a fun way to be involved in the PFC? What about selling ICE CREAM? The kids line up to see you every Wednesday afternoon after school! You get to meet nice people at the Dairy when you pick up the ice cream! You get to change up what we sell!! Alas, this is my last year at Donlon and it's time to pass on the torch!
