Greetings from the American Birkebeiner!
Hi Skiers and Friends! People are now skiing on the Birkie Trail following the recent 5 inches of snow we received over Thanksgiving weekend. It's limited and caution is advised because of partially exposed rocks on the trail, but the ski season has started here in northwest Wisconsin!
The main purpose of this edition of Carpe Skiem ... is to make sure you pay special attention to each monthly email between now and Birkie Week 2013. Since all of our participants receive this ezine, Carpe Skiem is the official place where we include:- New Birkie Week events
- Special 40th Anniversary festivities
- Schedule changes and related updates
- Registration and bib pick-up information
- And, more
See Last Month's Launch of all the new things happening at this year's Birkie! Thanks for reading, and as always, we welcome your comments. You can reach me at [email protected].
Stay Fit!
