Moving the "awesome yellow robot"

Reassembling the awesome yellow robot in its new home in ECHA

It took two days to move the "awesome yellow robot" to its new home in ECHA.The process required electricians, riggers, engineers, robot technicians and others.

The robot is used by a number of researchers for various investigations including National Institutes of Health supported work on understanding spinal mechanics related to back pain.

Hello! My name is......

Work spaces in ECHA have 'paper insert' name plates. This means you create your own name plate, print it on light card stock, cut it out and slide it into the mounted wall plate.  They look like this:

Can I book space in ECHA?

Generally, there are three kinds of space in ECHA: classrooms, computer labs and meeting rooms. Booking will be handled as follows:

Classroms - Both courses and casual bookings should be done through Exams and Timetabling (Registrar's Office).

Computer lab - All computer lab bookings for ECHA should be done through AICT.

Meeting rooms - Meeting rooms will only be bookable for and by building occupants and will be booked through an online booking system. Meeting rooms will not be available for booking until levels 3, 4 and 5 of ECHA are ready for occupancy in October.

                                      Did you know?
