Fat Tuesday @ Picasso's
February 24th was Fat Tuesday and the final day of Mardi Gras.
Doubletree Residents enjoyed a special get-together with crab stuffed mushrooms, seafood dip and hurricane cocktails. Mardi Gras music set the festive mood.
Thank you to the Doubletree Special Events Committee for organizing the night out for Doubletree residents. More events are being planned.

Special Events Committee by Deborah Laverty
Those attending Fat Tuesday at Picasso's reported having a wonderful time nibbling on the complimentary hor d'oeuvres and sipping the refreshing, specially made hurricane drinks. The lounge was decorated with a festive Mardi Gras theme of beads, masks, balloons and coins and Bourbon Street type music played in the background.
Future Events planned by the Special events committee include an Easter Egg hunt followed by summer events.
Those interested in getting involved can join the committee at it's next meeting on Monday, March 9th @ 6pm. We meet at the clubhouse. |

This week every resident will receive a letter from the POA asking for email addresses. Our goal is to reduce the high cost of mailings and begin using email for all correspondence with Doubletree residents.
If you already receive your Doubletree Newsletter each month your email address is already in our system and there is no reason to fill out the form. But, please encourage your friends and neighbors to fill it out. They are missing too much.
