UPDATE 6 ON THE EARTHQUAKE

Dear Friends,

We had a busy day collecting additional donations, searching for last minute supplies and fuel, as well as sorting and boxing relief items to send to those in need.

It was very heartening to receive official approval from the Japanese authorities to travel the roads necessary to get to the relief site(s). A local television crew also stayed throughout the time at the church to film the efforts and to conduct various interviews. At about the middle of the day, before the rental truck arrived, we paused while a number of us prayed. Amidst all the activity of this day, I can say with confidence and trust that our prayers at that time and your prayers even now are making a difference.
