PowerPoint Presentation on the Latino Vote Available Free
PowerPoint

USHLI's PowerPoint presentation puts into historical context (1972-2004) the growth of the Latino population and the Latino vote, the Latino vote in presidential elections, the Latino vote in terms of electoral votes, and the Latino vote for Democratic and Republican presidential candidates compared to whites, women, labor, and African Americans. The presentation also shows the Latino vote in the 2008 presidential primaries and identifies by state 220 congressional districts and 1,800 legislative districts in which Latinos and African Americans can create viable electoral coalitions.
