WithdrawingStudents
Last Day to Drop: Friday, June 22

News

Schools can drop students through the 10th day of class with no academic penalty for the student and allotment deductions for the schools.  That 10th day for summer school is Friday, June 22nd.

We have a new process to withdraw students after the 10th day of class.  E-learning advisors may now withdraw students in the registration system after the tenth day of class in the registration system.  It's the same process as dropping students before Day 10.

After Day 10, though, removing students will be coded as a withdrawal, and the enrollment will still count in the district's allotment totals.  We will issue a "W" grade for the student. Drops prior to Day 10 do not count in a district's enrollment totals.  Click here for more details.

Student Password Issues

Passwords will not work until the first day of our Meet the Teacher program. That date is June 7. Please remember that students will not gain access to their courses for up to one business day after their enrollment.

If the student's password does not work on the first day of Meet the Teacher, go through the following steps:

1) Confirm that the student is enrolled and not waitlisted.

2) If the student is recently enrolled, remember that passwords will not work for 24 hours.

3) If the student is confirmed enrolled and it has been at least 24 hours since enrollment, then have the student submit an online ticket with our Help Center here: http://www.help.ncvps.org/   Click on "Open a New Ticket." The student or the E-learning Advisor can submit this ticket. Be sure to include the student's name, Wise number, and course that the student can't access.

4) If a student's password stops working anytime during the semester, have the student submit an online ticket with the Help Center.
