'Berg Receives Gift from Trexler Trust for New Rehearsal Space
 

 
Muhlenberg  received a $500,000 leadership gift from the Harry C. Trexler Trust, to assist the College in opening a $3.5 million practice and rehearsal house to serve the music, theatre, and dance departments.


 
'Berg Breaks Ground on Seegers Union Expansion
 
 
A small group of faculty, staff and students gathered along with members of the Board of Trustees on April 24 for an intimate ceremony to commemorate the groundbreaking of the new Seegers Union Expansion.

 
Hillel House Gifts to Date 
 
 
Donors to the project to renovate and expand Muhlenberg's Hillel House have given $1,304,762 toward the 
$3.5 million goal.

An Entrepreneurial Spirit
 
Muhlenberg received a generous gift from William "Bill" Miers '49 and his wife, Virginia (Gini), to fully fund an endowed chair in entrepreneurial studies. In 2008, the College appointed Trish Boyles as the Miers Chair.  Read more...

Donor Recognition Luncheon
 
On April 26, 2009, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations held its annual Honors Convocation Donor Recognition Luncheon.  President Randy Helm, Muhlenberg College Trustees, faculty, staff, student recipients, parents and guests gathered to meet and honor those donors who provide generous support for awards and prizes at Muhlenberg.  After lunch, remarks were made by President Helm and Kaitlin Ritter '10.  Kaitlin is following the pre-medicine program with a major in Biology and a minor in English.  She is this year's recipient of the Dr. James R. John Ramsay Named Provost

 
Provost John RamsayJohn Ramsay, Ph.D., has been named Provost of Muhlenberg College.
