Greetings!

WTN PhotoWe want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone that has supported our monthly newsletter by placing ads, forwarding the publication to a friend or simply taking a moment to send an email saying you appreciate our efforts. There are a plethora of great events, businesses and organizations within our community and this is our way of bringing them to you.

With that said, let's talk about one of the most anticipated events of the year...the Festival At Sea Caribbean Cruise taking place August 1-8, 2010. The entertainment for this year's cruise will be the O'Jays, Deborah Cox, Tamia and comedian Damon Williams.

The Pink Dance-A-Thon is a 12 hour event that takes place in Chicago, Illinois during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Teams of Steppers, Walkers, Ball Roomers, Line Dancers & free-stylers all come together to dance against the odds of breast cancer. Each team consists of 10-25 dancers who take turns dancing for 12 straight hours! The idea is essentially a dancing version of a relay race - without the race. Each team has to have at least 2 or more members on the floor at all times. A variety of music is played for all the dancers, including house music, so get your team ready! A portion of the event is televised so this gives each team an opportunity to represent their organization, class, cause or City. There will be plenty of food & fun for ALL the participants!
