The tax updates for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be posted to the Customer Only site on www.coatssql.com on Friday, February 27th, 2009 in the morning. This applies to both COATS Standard and COATSsql users; please be sure to update your tax structures. |

Customer Relationship Management and COATS
The COATS sales feature has Customer Relationship Management (CRM) built right in. Encouraging your sales and placement teams to utilize these features has benefits beyond new sales generation. With existing Outlook and Word Integration, you can remain top of mind with your prospect and active clients!
Every prospective client should be entered and tracked in COATS. Within the Client Sales screen you can enter Emails, Phone calls, Visits, Appointments, Public Relation calls, and Face to Face Contacts. Since every contact deserves a follow up, the date can be entered into a "hotlist" within COATS or can pop up as a reminder call within Outlook! Further, attaching Word documents or PDF documents (that you've sent to your clients) for review within the Sales section provides all users with an immediate picture as to where your agency is with that account.
