Online Applicant Entry 

With more candidates having access to the Internet and basic computer skills, many now desire to enter their application online from their own home. 

 

COATS Standard and COATSsql allow you to post the Employment application on your website.  The applicant is able to Apply Online entering basic information, Education, Temporary Experience, Skills, History, etc.  The coordinator is able to review all Applicants within COATS to see who is applicable to their firm, delete those that are not, download those that are and then print their application for review when the temporary comes for an interview.

What is your favorite thing about staffing?   I like planning and creating systems to support my staff.  Of course, it is always the best thing about staffing to make a match where both client and candidate come away happy and fulfilled.

Currently, what is your firms largest challenge?  Surviving the hideous economy.

 

Currently, what is the largest challenge facing our industry?  In our area, it is the economy.  Interestingly the economy is not the same everywhere across the USA.

 

Do you have a favorite networking group or association and why?TempNet because of the exchange of information and friendships with people who share our challenges.

 

How do employees of your firm keep updated on industry law or certifications?   We receive regular updates from ASA.  In addition, we have ongoing information sharing emails within TempNet.  In other words, when someone has an issue they send out a request for information and the various members respond with information.

What is your favorite thing about staffing?  I would have to say the joy you can bring workers by keeping them busy, even in the low times of the economy.

Currently, what is your firms largest challenge?   Right now our largest challenge is having the capability of answering every single call that comes in.  Right now our ratio of employees to staff is 100/1.

Currently, what is the largest challenge facing our industry?  Right now it's the oil prices.  We don't have the capability to give everyone raises to keep up with all of the high prices and the cost of living.
